Login Problems

Activate NID Account and Synchronize Password

The UOnline system uses the the U of U Campus Information System (CIS) and the Network Identification system (NID) to authenticate. This means that your login and password for the UOnline system will be the same as the CIS and NID systems. If you are having trouble login into the UOnline system, the first thing you want to try is changing your password in the CIS system at https://gate.acs.utah.edu/ Changing your password in the CIS system will synchronize your password in all the systems mentioned above.

If you still have problems visit http://www.it.utah.edu/services/helpDesk/ or contact the Campus Help Desk at 801-581-4000. When your questions have been answered or you have straightened out your account with Office of Information Technology OIT use your UNID login and UNID password to access the UOnline system.
